New technologies in Turkey

A new technology that diagnoses diseases at an early stage from Turkish researchers.

Scientists from Turkey have introduced a new breakthrough in medical technology - wearable technology capable of simultaneously monitoring various health indicators. This includes heart rhythm, cardiovascular aging level, and vessel flexibility, making early diagnosis of various diseases possible.

The innovative development was carried out at the National Nanotechnology Research Center of Bilkent University (UNAM) in Turkey using optical fiber. Dr. Mustafa Ordu, one of the leading researchers at UNAM, noted that this new achievement was made possible by the unique infrastructure in Turkey for the production of optical fiber and the preparation of sensory fibers.

This project aims to enhance the accessibility and convenience of medical monitoring for a wide range of people by providing the necessary data for early detection of diseases and maintaining health.
